WAMS 2026 invites all young professionals below the age of 40, and in the initial stage of their career in academic or industrial research, to apply for the Young Professional Excellence Award. A panel of experts will evaluate applicants’ research quality and overall career record. The Young Professionals’ Excellence Award will be announced on the official website of WAMS 2026 and presented during the awards banquet ceremony. The award includes a cash prize, a plaque, and a certificate.

We welcome both self-nominations and external nominations. Please note that a nominator may submit only one nomination.

Instructions:

The eligible applicants/nominators can apply using the Google form, linked to the QR code in this brochure. Please upload the following documents to the Google form:

1. CV / Resume of the applicant
2. Two-page write-up summarizing the applicant’s research contributions and leadership activities
3. List of applicant’s Awards, Grants, and Publications

Deadline to Apply: 31st January, 2026.
